I enlisted in the Marine Corps immediately out of high school in 1998. After 8 years and 3 deployments, I took a quick detour to Auburn University to earn my bachelors degree and a Commission in the Marines. I retired from the Marines in February 2024 and transitioned into my newfound passion of giving financial advice. I’ve been married to my high school sweetheart since 1999, and together we’ve raised two sons, one of whom is proudly serving in the U.S. Air Force. Both boys love music, theater, and Batman. (We raised them on Marvel. I’m still not sure what happened there.) For many years, our family balanced the demands of military service and we scarified a lot when the mission had to come first. We wouldn’t trade our military experience, but the shift toward putting family first has been a welcome change.

Outside of work, I’m an avid marathon runner, cyclist, and musician. I stay active in my church and community, believing that true wealth is found not in what we have, but in how we give, grow, and serve others.
