Formynder Wealth Management, LLC (“FWM”) recognizes that the relationships with current and prospective clients are based on integrity and trust. As a fiduciary financial planning firm serving military families and retirees, I understand the trust clients place when sharing personal and financial information. Safeguarding that trust is central to FWM’s mission. Therefore, I will not disclose your personal information to anyone unless it is required by law or at your direction. I will not sell your personal information.

 I want all FWM clients to understand what information collected, how it is used, and how I protect your personal information.

 Why FWM Collects Your Information

FWM gathers information about you so that I can:

  • Collaboratively design and implement the investment and financial planning-related services FWM provides you; and

  • Comply with the Federal and State laws and regulations that govern FWM.

 

What Information FWM Collects and Maintains

FWM may collect the following types of “nonpublic personal information” (“NPI”) about you:

  • Information from our initial meeting or subsequent consultations about your identity, such as your name, address, social security number, date of birth, and financial information;

  • Information that generated to service your financial needs; and

  • Information that FWM may receive from third parties in connection with the services we provide you.

 

What Information FWM Discloses

FWM is permitted by law to disclose nonpublic information about you to unaffiliated third parties in certain circumstances. FWM may disclose the client's NPI: (1) to individuals and/or entities not affiliated with FWM, including, but not limited to third parties that assist in the supervision or management of your account(s) (i.e., sub-advisers, account custodian, record keeper, attorney, etc.); (2) to service providers contracted by FWM in order for FWM to perform the duties in furtherance of the client's engagement with FWM (i.e. client management systems, archiving technology vendors, cloud service providers, etc.); (3) to your authorized representative or power of attorney; (4) when FWM receives your prior consent; (5) in connection with a proposed or actual sale, merger, or transfer of all or a portion of FWM business; and (6) as otherwise permitted to do so in accordance with the parameters of applicable federal and/or state privacy regulations.

In the event that FWM has a change to its client privacy policy that would allow it to disclose non-public information not covered under applicable law, FWM will allow its clients the opportunity to opt out of such disclosure.

 

How FWM Protects Your Personal Information

Privacy is always important to FWM. FWM restricts and limit access to client information only to those who need to carry out their business functions. FWM safeguards client information by preventing its unauthorized access, disclosure, or use through the following measures:

  • Secure encryption (SSL/TLS) for all data transmitted through the website and client portal.

  • Multi-factor authentication (MFA) for client logins and advisor access.

  • Secure document sharing through encrypted file exchange systems.

  • Regular software updates and security monitoring to prevent unauthorized access.

  • Role-based access controls ensuring that only authorized team members can view sensitive data.

All FWM employees receive regular training in cybersecurity awareness and privacy best practices. FWM partners only with reputable, security-compliant vendors (such as custodians, planning software providers, and secure email platforms). Each vendor must meet or exceed industry data protection standards, including SOC 2, ISO 27001, or equivalent certifications.

 

Former Clients

Even if FWM ceases to provide you with financial services, the FWM Privacy Policy will continue to apply to you, and will continue to treat your nonpublic information with strict confidentiality. FWM maintains all records regarding all former clients for the retention period required by law.
